We stayed in Unit 7, a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit on the first level. It had a full kitchen with dishwasher and even washer and dryer. There was a big storage closet with about 10 different sized beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, noodles, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a regular umbrella. Our unit had a patio out back with table and chairs and lawn chairs. The space was huge for us (my parents, me and my husband, and my 2 toddlers). The pool/hottub area was never crowded. We only had to wait for the community grill for a few minutes. There is a small putting green. There are several restaurants and souvenir shops within very close walking distance. The beach is a two or three minute walk from the hotel, across a street that isn't ever busy. There is a pier and a nice walkway by the beach. If you're looking for a QUIET place with a full kitchen, it's a good spot.
Here are the only negatives I found:
1) There are a lot of rules, because you're staying in someone's apartment. For example, they have signs up asking you not to put your luggage on the bedspread, or even SIT on the bedspreads. They ask you to remove them so they don't get damaged. I was worried the whole time I was there that my toddlers were going to ruin or break something. Kids under 12 can't be in the pool after nine, and can't be in the hot tub at all.
2) The hotel seems to be more attractive for older people. I found the whole area to be pretty boring. I couldn't find anyone who could recommend fun things for my toddlers to do in the area (besides pool and beach)...and I even asked locals who had kids.
3). I was excited about the full kitchen before I went, but after I spent almost a week shopping for groceries, cooking, washing clothes, etc. it didn't really seem like much of a vacation. This isn't any fault of this hotel, but something to think about.
