The staff there just great, the rooms clean, the grounds perfect, everyone with smiles on there faces, we are in Daytona twice a year and I dont think we will be staying anywhere else . Thank

We stayed in an oceanfront efficiency on Saturday Sept 24,2011 until Tuesday Sept 27, 2011. Our room was clean and our view was fabulous! I always check the bathroom the moment we walk into a hotel~this bathroom was very clean! Our room was directly across the hall from the laundry! The pool area was wonderful and access to the beach was perfect. All desk staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe was great! I would recommend this hotel and I will stay there again on future visits to Daytona Beach!!

Great stay- clean room, comfortable beds, great location, checked in early - 12:30. Only negative was Room 202 is listed as Ocean Front, yet the view is blocked by three palm trees. Will stay again!

We fly from England to Florida each year to visit our son and partner who live in Orlando. We just want to get out to the beach; my son and partner come visit us whilst we are at the beach. Tropical Winds fitted the bill perfectly with a large efficiency that could bed 6 people. As we had people coming and going it was very convenient. The Manager even suggested that we move to a cheaper room when there were only 2 or three of us, but we were so satisfied with our room. It was clean and fairly well equipped. When we asked for a larger fridge it arrived in minutes. The beach and views are spectacular as is the service in the hotel. The staff WANT to help and do.
I have read a couple of poor reviews for August... these don't seem to be the same place we stayed. We liked it so much we stayed nearly three weeks and will book again for next year.
