Just recently stayed at this Super 8 on US 1. Bad, bad and worse. Only stayed here because it was a long day of driving from South Florida.Upon arriving the front desk clerk allowed me to see the first room and it was an adjoining room and I'm not too keen on those. So I went back several times(already payed for the room, wish I didn't)and still no luck until the 5th time of seeing rooms. Still ended up with an adjoining room. I think they're all that way at this property. So once in the room we discovered that they only have 6 tv channels. 4 of the 6 have poor reception. The front desk person said they're in the middle of changing who they use for tv. Thank God the wifi was good. The wife wanted to leave but didn't want to take a chance on looking for another place. The ac unit had missing buttons. The heat didn't work. It was a bit chilly that night. The floor had several uneven spots. The beds were semi okay. Just a bad experience.I wish I had read the reviews first but was in a hurry to find a place for the night. But when you're on a tight budget sometimes you have to bite the bullet. I would have slept in the car but we have 2 little kids and they need a place to sleep. Poor breakfast. Just needs to be totally redone from top to bottom.
