My colleagues and I stayed here during a conference at the Ocean Center. This hotel was cheaper than the conference hotel, provided free parking, free wireless and free breakfast--sold! There is a musty smell to the rooms, but come on people, its ON the beach and the beach is wet. The A/C worked fine to take some of the humidity out of the room and we had an oceanfront efficiency so we could open the door to the ocean and the front door to get a nice cross breeze going. The room had a full size refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, sink and efficiency oven/stove. There was a lone pot in the cabinets so we assumed we would have to ask at the front desk for the dishes, etc. but considering we didn't plan on cooking, we didn't ask. There was a small table and two chairs in our two double bed room. We had ample towels and when additional were requested, they were quickly delivered by Stephanie.

The front desk was helpful (although clueless at times). The breakfast was coffee, apple or orange juice, hot water for oatmeal, bagels with cream cheese, butter or jelly, muffins, danishes, oranges, individual servings of cereal. All pretty standard continental breakfast fare. We did have to go to the front desk twice to get our cards re-magnetized. No idea what happen but the staff quickly fixed the cards so no complaints there.

All-in-all, this is a cheap hotel with cheap prices. Shop around and if Roomba Inn is the cheapest, don't hesitate to try them out!

I read all the reviews before I went, so I can not complain too much. Yes the rain comes into the room. Yes, there is a mold smell, Yes, they had no shampoo for a couple of days, Yes, they did not give us towels one day, Yes, the maintenance guy was working on the balcony door started Tuesday and did not finish before we left Saturday. The door was being held on by one hinge. The "breakfast" was either donuts, bagels or dry cereals. That is if you got there early. This was Biketoberfest week and they decided to seal the parking lot and stripe. But it is on the beach, and the 75.00 per night room was bearable for the first few days, but then it change to 179.00 a night. The room did not get cleaner, smell less, or the door get fixed, etc. The people were nice, but could not fix the problems. I was with 3 other couples and they had the same problems as I, except for the door.

Wonderful experience! Everyone at the property was friendly and took care of our needs and we received great service! We really enjoyed the Fireworks on Saturday night! Location was perfect, walking distance to the Boardwalk and Ocean Center! Breakfast every morning was very delicious and the kids enjoyed it! We will definately be back to this property!

Hotel room was very dirty and had an unpleasent odor. The staff was rude and not helpfull. We checked out and found other accomidations.
