I was a bit apprehensive initially with the mixed reviews but didn't have a lot of cash flow and had to spend the night in Daytona...I am definitely glad I found this hotel it was clean, the room was large and had a couch; desk; microwave;fridge;coffee maker; & dishes, you get a movie rental card machine is in the lobby, an it's right on the beach SERIOUSLY all for 95(TAX INCLUDED)!!! Not sure what the bad review people were expecting but I will DEFINATELY be staying here again :)))!!!!!

My daughter and I HATED this hotel. HATED!!! There was a horrible, foul, musty odor in the elevator. The hallways with the rooms smelled like smoke although there were "nonsmoking" signs on all of the doors. I had to spray our room with my bath and body works body splash to get the odor out of the room. Once in the room, we saw a huge roach on the desk. We also heard everything that was going on in the room next to us because the walls were paper thin. I attempted to call the front desk several times, but no one answered. After dealing with all of this, we decided not to even go to the continental breakfast. We went to IHOP instead. Also, the hotel looked very old and it does not look like the pictures. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. Pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else....

we stayed in a oceanfront room that the front desk picked for us great roomshe did a awesome job picking it we will stay there again next year the only thing we didnot like was their cont/ breakfast donut juice not acont. breakfast

On an impromptu trip to Daytona Beach we decided to stay for a few days and had the good fortune to stop and check room rates at Oceanside Inn. With the local hotel discount book and the beginning of the off season we were able to book an ocean side suite for less than $70 a night. Our suite included a full eat in kitchen, sitting area with seating for 7, two queen beds, two tv's, plenty of storage space and a large bathroom with dressing area and full closets. We were treated to a wall of windows overlooking the ocean from the 7th floor. Our kids loved this as they could open the windows at night and fall asleep to the sights and sounds of the ocean. The room was clean and well cared for. Beds were newer and very comfortable with plenty of pillows for each bed. The staff went above and beyond in the level of service at all areas. The free breakfast is very basic. Cold cereal, pastries, coffee, juice and milk. The hotel offers a good selection of hot breakfast items at a good value. Kids enjoyed the free DVD rentals offered. The full kitchen was great option for anyone who would like to cook and would offer a huge saving option on food cost. There are ample grocery stores nearby. Access to the beach is just steps out the back door and we liked that it is secured with a child safety lock. Very secure parking area that is well lit. We did notice some roaches on our checkout day and mentioned it to the front desk as we were packing up. Before we left they had someone working on it.
