This hotel is the best hotel we've stayed at in Daytona. The service here is very good. The breakfast is excellent. We enjoyed the nightly free cookies very much.

It's nice that the rooms are oceanfront, but this is not the place to stay if you are on business. The rooms are old and I did not feel the rooms were very clean. They were old and the decor needs updating.

I have stayed here many times over the past 7 years. Up until this visit I have always been very pleased with this Hampton Inn. When I stayed here in November of 2011 I was not. The check in went fine the front desk person was very nice and asked if I had stayed here before. After I checked in I put my bags in my room and then left to meet some friends I was having dinner with. I arrived back at the hotel around 1:00am. When I got to my room I found the following: Dried tooth paste all over the sink, Hair in the bathtub in several places, hair on the toilet seat, 2 bottle caps on the chairs and table and many crumbs all over the carpet area. Because it was so late I did not complain because I had to leave very early the next morning for Orlando. When I came back the next evening after a long day of business the bathroom had been cleaned thoroughly, but the rest of the issues I listed here were the same. I was supposed to stay for 4 nights but only ended up staying for 2 because I was so dissapointed. I received an email from Hilton to rate my stay and let them know about the issues, but never heard back from the hotel. I don't know if I will stay here again. Sad.

My Wife and I have just spent 9 nights at this Hotel, It was comfortable, room was large, very clean and most of all the staff were fantastic, welcoming and always had time for the congenial chat.they were a credit to the Hotel chain. We were sad to leave on Friday 2nd and look forward to returning next year we hope. We will miss the warm cookies and banter with the evening staff.
