Not close to the beach unless you have a car but great location if you do. Was quiet and calm when i went but watch out for race activities daytona 500 across the street. Cute heated pool and jacuzzi.

I write this on my last night of a 3 night stay at this hotel. While the room itself is spacious and comfortable, I am bleary eyed having been up since 2:00 am (its 4 now) due to the party on the floor above. The walls of this hotel are so poorly constructed that you can hear whole conversations and every noise from the rooms next door, in the hall and apparently the floor above. The desk clerk was so nice & has gone up personally to ask them to be a bit quieter but they totally ignore him. So I will drive 6 hours home tomorrow with no sleep and I am miserable. My husband and I were surprised the first night we stayed at how easily you could hear people talking in the hall way and in their rooms next door. If you stay at this hotel, insist on the corner room on the top floor - that may be the only way you get any sleep here. Or bring a room fan to create some white noise. I travel for my job and in 15 years I have never stayed at a hotel that is so conducive to noise from other rooms. Whoever built it must have put paper between the plywood. The room is a nice room (although the bathroom could have used a good cleaning and mold/mildew removal) and the lobby area is beautful and the staff friendly. It is a convenient location for those visiting the speedway and is close to the airport if you fly in.

You are a true asset to the Marriott Chain. My visit was last minute due to a family medical emergency. From check- in to check -out the service was flawless. Although I was not in my room much, everything about it was perfect. In the 1br king suite was everything you would need and more including a full kitchen and all of the necessites. The complimentary breakfest and all day coffee in the lobby is also a big plus. Look no further to feel at home and the beach is such a short drive!
