It was very nice to be right on the ocean. Lots of rec activities with 2 pools (one heated), shuffleboard, basketball, and jet ski rentals out at the beach. The rooms were very dated and had an old, dirty kind of feel due to the need for upkeep...chipped paint, stuck doors, ripped carpet, linens not very fresh/clean feeling. Decent value though. Our room had a kitchenette (with very old appliances) and a balcony. With so many other choices on the Daytona strip, I don't think I would ever stay here again unless there were some major refurbishments/renovations.

We stayed for a weekend in January 2012. Sort of 70's beach retro. Our ocean front room was clean with a balcony. Room had a fridge and a microwave. Good value, friendly staff and free wi-fi. Free continental breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel in Dec 2011, the room was great, bathroom clean and it also had a kitchenette, parking and with a oceanview, very nice.
The complimentary breakfast only had bagels and pastries and most of these ran out by 8:30 or so though the bkfst time is still 9:30, so if you came later, you had to go hungry. Would be good if they could provide coffee packs in the room as they had a coffeemaker.

This is a fantastic place ! Check in & out was a breeze and made that way by Nicole working the front desk. I booked on hotels.com and got an ocean facing room with 2 queen beds, kitchenette and a balcony and all this for $ 48 ! Room was clean, roomy and well equipped. Breakfast was more than adequate with coffee, tea, juice, milk, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bagels & danish.There are 2 pools along with a kiddy pool. It's in a handy location with a Winn Dixie across the street and a 7/11 a couple blocks away. I can't wait to return !!!
