Every trip to this area has us staying here with ample truck parking, pet friendly ( a little high at $15) and an IHOP out front. In my last review, we understood the old owners were ousted and new owners coming in to make big changes. Sadly, haven't seen it yet. The toilet kept running all night long, my cat picked up some fleas and there were no changes we could see happening. The general consensus is that a lot of the Day's Inns are being taken over by America's Best Value Inns. With the disappearance of the Day's Inn sign, I think there will be a takeover - as for things getting better and the rooms being improved, time will have to see on this one. Our usual desk clerk, Melinda, who worked her butt off to make this place something is no longer with the hotel which was a disappointment in itself. While the clerk there was courteous and efficient, as stated, not much else seemed to be improving. Will check it out when in the area again and update this profile.
