We went to Daytona Lagoon on a weekday afternoon with our 6 year old. There were no lines for any of the rides which was great. He had lots of fun. There were lots of lifeguards everywhere so we felt very safe and let him run around the kiddy water section by himself. Water temperature was perfect and the pool water wasn't bleachy like many water parks. After a few hours outside we played in the arcade and then came back another day for indoor laser tag.
Cons: the park is kind of small, the number of rides are limited and it is located in a somewhat shady area of Daytona (from the top of some rides we saw quite a few bums walking the street right behind the park). Food choices are very poor and the staff indoors were MIA when we arrived. Since it was our first time we had no idea where to go to enter the park or where to purchase tickets and we couldnt find an employee anywhere to assist.
Rating this attraction very good considering the price was fair, there were lots of activities to keep us occupied and because my son had fun and wants to go back.
