This motel is a 50's era motel that's been transformed by bright paint and hand-painted murals into a cheery place. My suite had two bedrooms, a small kitchen, and the bathroom. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen was supplied with enough plates to feed a half-dozen people. The owners were friendly and helpful.

They have a heated pool overlooking the beach, the pool was warmer than the air temperature when I was there.

I was surprised that they had Wi-fi but they had multiple towers. Connection was fast and free. They also offered to print whatever I needed.

I didn't like the room door (old wooden doors with metal keys, no chain). The bed was comfortable but short. The bathroom lacked counter space. I had some asthma the second night here, not sure what the trigger was. They had been painting the exterior doors, perhaps that caused the asthma.

Daytona Beach is a popular destination for beach-goers from around the world.
There are many local attractions surrounding the Tropical Manor area. (Daytona Beach Shores ) That’s what it is making it the perfect family vacation spot for everyone AND every age. Bring your ( grand) mother , kids , wife and the rest of the family to Daytona, the will love this place. A great place for lovers of water sports and its easy accessible beach ! If you do not like the beach, the big pool area is nice too. The Tropical Manor is a beautiful beach-front, lovely hotel and very laid-back.
Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is nice and clean. The pillows were comfy. The staff is very nice.. I always have a great experience at the Tropical.Year after year…

For leisurely guests, the famous beach ( always open !!), various museums ,galleries, the Volusia Mall and the convention centre are within close reach. Entertainment ,bars , spring break, NASCAR auto racing, Bike week ,dining ,nightlife venues and shopping opportunities abound in many locations.

My favorite?? Bare feet on the white sand beach when the sun comes up in the morning…
Love it !!

We really enjoyed our stay at Audrey's Tropical Manor. This is a standout concept motel - pastel shades, lovely garden and all next to those endless Daytona sands. Our room was far bigger than we imagined it would be, with fun and unusual decorations (mostly involving parrots!). All impeccably clean too. There's a nice pool and our kids were delighted with the games on offer -we were able to introduce them to shuffleboard (not something we play in the UK!). Staff are friendly and helpful. Great value for money and well worth a stay.

This was our second time staying at TM. Last year we stayed on the wonderful reviews here on Trip Advisor and after enjoying ourselves so much, we decided to do it again this year.

Tropical Manor is a throwback to simpler times in Florida with pink buildings and murals. Both times that we have stayed it has been quiet and relaxing. Most of the guest we have seen have been older. We are in our 30's and everyone else we see is probably 50 and older.

Room are well kept but I imagine soon it may be time to replace carpets and curtains, as they are beginning to show a bit of wear and tear.

The pool is always at the perfect temperature and the beach is just steps away. You won't find a better place for the money in my opinion. Like my title says...we liked it so much we came back.
