We stayed in a two-bedroom condo with our 8 year-old son. The place was very clean. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked (could have used a frying pan). Our unit was short on coffee mugs but that was resolved within the hour of us mentioning it.

We really appreciated being in a quieter location away from International Drive or downtown Kissimmee. Even being slightly outside of these areas it is only 3 minutes to the I4 and from there you can readily get to all the attractions. We visited Universal, Orlando Science Center, LegoLand, Busch Gardens and Cocoa Beach using this our base and it took us less time to get to the attractions as we could quickly get on the I4.

There is a Publix (grocery store) and gas station within 3 minutes of the resort. WalMart is about 4 miles away. You get an initial roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one sample dishwasher soap package and you probably want to pick up some additional supplies of these on the way in. You will also need laundry detergent. There is an on-site store but I suspect the prices are a bit higher than at a larger retail outlet.

We stayed in a 2 bed condo which was clean and spacious. The apartment is fitted with all the mod cons and so cooking/washing was easy. All the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. If you fancy a night after trailing round all the parks/shops, hire a DVD from the machine in the reception area as they have all the latest releases for about £1 for 24hrs rental. The bar by the pool is also a good place to unwind at the end of the day whilst the kids go swimming. (we didn't eat at the pool bar but the food did look good)

The resort is only a 15mins drive from all the major attractions and the Chili's at the end of the road offers great food and value for money. Florida Mall is about a 20min drive

The kids loved the free wi fi! Would definately come back and recommend the Tuscana to friends.

My tip to all the mums going, make use of the American washing machines/dryers. The washer only takes about 20mins and the dryer is the same. Came home with no dirty washing!

I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a convenient and inexpensive place to stay while visiting Disney. We thought we were pushing the envelope with seven adults in a three bedroom unit, but there was plenty of room. The unit was generally spacious, although the living room area was disproportionately small. Everything was very clean but worn. The carpeting was especially scary looking, but it turned out to be stained rather than dirty. Another reviewer had mentioned that they thought the beds were full size rather than queen, and we also initially thought the beds were full size. But I measured, and sure enough they are 60 inches across – queen size. I don’t know why they look smaller. The pool area is fantastic with a nice bar and restaurant. A previous reviewer had commented that the hot tub was only warm, but it was extremely hot when we were there, and the pool temperature was pleasant. We had hoped our college age children could use the resort’s shuttle, but it only made one trip a day to Magic Kingdom, leaving the resort at 9am and returning at 5pm, so we didn’t find it useful. Fortunately, the resort is very conveniently located, and it only took us 15-20 minutes to get from the condo to the Disney parking lots.

excelent experience in this resort. stayed in 2bdrm/2bath apt, very spacious and clean.
food at the pool restaurant was great and service overall the same.
5min drive to Disney parks and Kissimmee.
