We too, enjoy traveling and when we go to Ft. Lauderdale, the only place we will stay is Liberty. Joe & Jack are the best. They will go out of their way to accomodate their guests.Their friendly attitude and the welcoming atmosphere at Liberty will make you feel right at home. The grounds are impeccable. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Their poolside BBQs are a treat and everyone participates so you feel like you're among family. We have been visiting Jack & Joe for approximately 7 years, visiting, because we don't consider Liberty a just place to stay, we consider it our home away from home. By the way, we have always felt safe and we are women.

We had a nice time at Liberty Apartment Suites. The hosts were overly friendly and helpful. They made the stay awesome. It was great that they introduced all of the guests to each other, it made us feel very comfortable for the week. We did not even lock our door most of the time, we felt secure among our new friends.

I recently stayed at this hotel and could not believe a recent review that gave it a poor rating. The review must have been based on a first departure from a guarded & gated community in some uppity New England town. This place does not deserve comments like that. Liberty Suites is phenomenal- worth double what the owners charge! Both management and guests are super friendly and make even a first time visitor comfortable. Granted that Disney is not next door, but I have never felt more safe with a secure parking area, guests who always seem to watch out for others and a deluxe suite that rivals most all-suite hotels across the U.S. I would not only stay here again, but would totally recommend it all of my friends. We have traveled a lot and have always used trip advisor as a guide. but this place had to have paid friends to write 5 star reviews!. It sits in the middle of a ghetto with transcients and gangs of thumps walking all around the streets. You will not feel safe here unless you grew up in a ghetto! When you walk into the grounds you first witness the feel of a halfway house with doors open and ugly sights all around you. There is no lock on the gate so anyone can wander into the pool area. This was one of the worse places we have stayed at in years. If you are planning a trip to the Fort Lauderdale area, avoid this place at all costs! I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy!
