“Not up to Courtyard's Usual Standards”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2011

Currently at Courtyard Coral Springs for a two night stay for business. The lobby, dinning area, pool and exercise room are great. So, I was a little surprised when I got to my room. It's stuffy and has a layer of dust on everything; the wall paint is peeling where it meets the ceiling. I get the impression this hotel dosen't get a lot of traffic. Since I've been here, I've only seen six other cars in the parking lot. The staffers are very friendly and this location is close to some great shopping. So overall I'd say its ok for a short stay; it meets basic needs.

“Just Average”

I stayed at this hotel in November for a 1 week business trip.

I arrived very late in the evening, and was greeted by an initially empty lobby. A male attendant came in, and checked me in. No nice welcome like I usually get. Just business ... not rude, but not friendly either.

The room was OK. The bed was average with clean bedding. The hotel looks like it needs some renovations and new carpeting.

I did not get to use any of the amenities because I worked most of the time I was there.

Like I said ... just an OK visit.

The balcony was nice ...just ask for a room away from the front or facing the courtyard. My balcony was at the front of the builing, and it was always busy.

“We had a great trip and were treated well at the hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2010

We were in Coral Springs for a swim meet in July, the front desk staff was so good about answering our questions about the pool and area restaurants. The hotel is located on a main road so it was easy to access everything we needed. The front desk staff even called me 2 nights in a row when the public computer was vacant--that was really sweet. There is no continental breakfast but there is a McDonald's right in front of the hotel so it was easy access on the way to the early morning meets.

“Very friendly, helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2010

This property is set back off N. University Dr and is difficult to find because there is no sign on the road. Getting past that problem is the last you will experience. The property is extremely clean. They have an exercise room, breakfast laundry and U.S. A. Today and W.S. Journal newspapers for the guests. I was assigned a room directly across from the vending and ice machines which stand directly in the hall. I returned to the desk and asked for another room. No problem, I was given another room away from the machines. The rooms are well appointed and the bedding is very comfortable. The hotel is far enough away from the street that traffic noise is not heard. The staff in the breakfast area are very nice and attentive. I dropped my napkin on the floor and before I could pick it up I was given two more. I'll be back.

“Sorry i picked this motel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

My husband and i needed a place to sleep as our home air condition went out. There are may motels around us but we've always heard good things about the Marriot. The pool area was Great, clean and private. The room was large enough and clean. After we were ready for bed I noticed the comfortor was very lumpy. Seems when washed the inside of the comfortor lumped together. This really needed to be thrown out and not put on a bed. 2nd thing the toilet kept running after beinging flushed so each time we had to take off the tank top and fix it. 3rd the TV worked but the remote didn't so we had to get up each time we wanted to change channels or turn it off. If we need a cool place to sleep tonight we will look for another place.
