Understand what people mean when they say its not the perfect place but give me a break. Pets are allowed and thats means no room will be perfect! I've been going to this location with the wife, kids and dog for some years now. We use it as a place to sleep not to live at . It has the best location for access to the beach and all the needed local places are nearby. We've been at other more expensive motels/hotels in the area and they cost alot more without giving you more!! Use the place for what it was designed for and be happy!

We stayed 1 night, while on a trip with a group of friends. I saw the negative reviews, but decided to stay anyway, as I was bringing my dog. My expectations were not too high as it was a Motel 6. I wanted a clean, safe room and that's what I got. The carpet was a little worn, but freshly vacuumed. The smoke detector was sitting on the desk, but I wasn't overly concerned in a first floor room. The water pressure was low, but not the hotel's fault. Neither was the pool that felt like a warm bath, even at 9 am. It has been terribly hot here. For less than $60, I got a room with 2 queen beds, and plenty of room for a dog crate, 1 block from the beach. The dog was crated while we walked to the beach. Ron Jon surf shop is a few blocks north. I did not find much else to do in town, but did not look very hard, as it was just 1 night. The hotel next door was much fancier, but twice the price. This hotel provided a great value with it's proximity to the beach. I didn't find anything unfit at all.

Old, dirty, furniture falling apart, tiny tv, no wifi, tiny bathroom and one of my tires was shot out at 4:00am! Stay somewhere else. I'd rather sleep in my car at a rest area that stay at his place ever again.

This was the only hotel at the time that had rooms in Cocoa Beach. I now understand why the room smelled so bad we had the front desk come by two times to spray air freshener. We had roaches, mold, small blood stains on the sheets and towels and a few bed bugs. I contacted Motel 6 and they gave me a free night guest certificate that I will never use. I have contacted my credit card and will be refusing to pay them.
