“NEVER AGAIN!!! ROACHES, MOLD, BLOOD, BUGS”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 June 2011

This was the only hotel at the time that had rooms in Cocoa Beach. I now understand why the room smelled so bad we had the front desk come by two times to spray air freshener. We had roaches, mold, small blood stains on the sheets and towels and a few bed bugs. I contacted Motel 6 and they gave me a free night guest certificate that I will never use. I have contacted my credit card and will be refusing to pay them.

Room Tip: The hotel is in a good location.... thats about it

“dirty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 May 2011

The room was old and dirty: blankets and curtains with holes, very rancid air in the room. Never will stay there again and do not recommend it to anyone. Also there are a huge amount of nesting birds on the motel's roof and around and they make mess everywhere (street, cars, pool).
The good thing is that the motel is located very close to the beautiful beach. We saw a lot of crabs there and also some dolphins.

“Great Staff, Great Location, Great Rates, Pet Friendly”

We've been staying here for many winters because it is reasonable, pet friendly, great location and the staff is so friendly! First the not so good things: it is an older building, the TV's are small, you have to pay for Wi-Fi, the rooms need to be refreshed. The good things are: located right near the beach, staff is very friendly, if you do have a problem they will try and fix it, the pool and courtyard provides a lovely setting to gather around and visit with others, landscaping is nice, the suites are large with fridge, microwave, table & chairs so you can eat in if you want to. I do feel safe there and if there is a problem with noise etc. the staff is very accommodating. We've met a lot of great people here and have had some great times with lots and lots of memories!!

“Somebody tossed more cookies than the Girl Scouts”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

In the interests of economy, my husband and I stayed in this dump. The room to which we were assigned was huge, even with two double beds but the teeny TV was at the other end of the room and one almost needed binoculars to see it. The bedspread on one smelled horribly of vomit and there was a large, vomit-scented stain on the well-worn carpet between the beds. Obviously this was a room that could accommodate a horde of spring breakers. The best treat was the bathroom. The floor hadn't seen a thorough cleaning in quite some time and the tub had so much oily dark residue in it, it looked like it had been used to rebuild a car engine. My husband wouldn't leave since he had already paid for it, but I told him I will divorce him if he ever goes to a Motel 6 again.
