The "pros": Clean, quiet, economical, nice pool area. The "cons": no windows one can open for fresh air., no resturants that are within walking distance, nowhere to go for a walk from the hotel, continental breakfast is very limited.

I didn't stay at this property but I called from another state and arranged for a friend to stay here. I just want to say that they Management is wonderful and handled my situation with great care. Especially Michael with whom I dealt with over the phone several times! It's always difficult to give out sensitive information such as credit card info over the phone and trust it to someone else care. I would recommend dealing with this staff anytime to anyone! Thank you!

I worked on the turnpike very near this hotel for two months and stayed here on a monthly rate basis during Dec 2010 and Jan 2011. The price made it a good value for me. The hotel is older and needs upgrading but it is relatively clean, quiet except for Sundays (see below), and convenient. I was in late and out early so I was satisfied with it although there are some areas of need. First the pros. It was inexpensive. Miriam and Schyler at the front desk were very responsive and friendly. The pool was very nice and clean. Room cleanliness was good. The Cons: The common areas and walkways around the hotel were always dirty. The continental breakfast was limited, stale and not very clean. A church rents the lower meeting room on Sundays and plays band music at extremely loud volume beginning before 9AM. Very annoying. Various ice makers did not work. Gutter system is in disrepair and water pours onto walkways in multiple places. WIFI access only in main building, none in guestrooms. After spending 2 months at a monthly rate, I had to extend by one night to complete my work. I was charged for the extra day on a nightly rate basis instead of a proration of my monthly rate for an added night. I felt this was unfair and niggling considering I had been there two months. Overall stay was a good value but there some areas of need to be addressed. Would stay again on business if I got the monthly rate. Don't know if I would for the daily rate or if I didn't have to be close to the turnpike at exit 285.

When I checked in I received no problems. I asked about the complimentary Wifi and was told it wasn't working in the rooms but the Wifi would be able to be accessed in the Lobby. With a little disappointment we set off to our room and was very surprised to see it was very clean and well stocked with the basics.
The room was quiet and comfortable, with an in room thermostat instead of the loud small wall unit air/heater.
We went to check the Lounge and bar- which to our disappointment were not serving due to economic problems, but decided to try and use the Wifi. With a little trouble we managed to log on but the connection was slow- not conducive to why we needed it. But for emailing and social networking this was a decent connection.
We decided to go to the front desk for any extras we needed such as more towels and the people there were very helpful and friendly. We even had to ask for plastic ware (as we were unprepared) and the front desk went and searched for some stored in the lounge. We were happy to see they did have some and was happy to see the gentleman there go above and beyond to look for us.

The location is alright, just minutes from Minneola and Clermont which has many places to eat including famous local dives and popular fast food joints, not to mention near the hub of local attractions.

All in all I'd stay again if I got the chance and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would stay in the area.
