We prepaid for two rooms and they lost one of our room reservations. They verified we had paid and requested the room, but the clerk said she had no rooms. Unbelievable. We prepaid, but they gave our room to someone else. Then the clerk said the manager was in a meeting and could not talk to us for 5-10 minutes. We are in the lobby now. I will let you know if we get a room. We cannot believe the manager will not leave her office to resolve a customer service issue they caused.

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Orlando. It is about a 30 min. drive to the Orlando parks. Room was very clean, service was great.. Prices were lower since we were a little ways away from Orlando. Lots of dining options close by.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn of Clermont in June, a hot time in Florida. The hotel from the outside is your typical Fairfield, but with a lot of palm trees to make it look beachy. Inside is clean and one of the larger Fairfields i've been in. The lobby and breakfast area are nicely decorated. In the morning, the breakfast area serves fruit, yogart, muffins, quiche (i've never seen that before), breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and cereal. This hotel also has an outdoor pool(no inside one) and a workout room. One disadvantage to this hotel is the one and only elevator( a lot of trips up the stairs for me). The rooms are nice. Maybe a bit old for a Marriott, but still in good condition. The beds are quite firm, and the pillows are the different too. The bathroom in our room seemed to be renovated, which was nice. Since it is Florida, the hotel has a/c, but it can get cold inside. People in the lobby were accomidating when we requested extra towels. The lobby also has an area which sells groceries, overpriced of course. Not to worry though, a short drive towards the main road is a Summerbay Grocery Store, a very nice one too! The hotel is in driving distance to attractions around the area. If your looking for a Marriott in the area, this is the only game in town. And you will not be disappointed!

The lady wasa great at checkin, our room was spacious, even with a rollaway. Beds are comfy and the room is spotless. Well worth the money. Includes breakfast, too!
