I stayed here for five weeks after I relocated from MD to FL for a new job and while I took time to learn the area. It took me five weeks to find a suitable apartment so this was a good substitution in the meantime. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Since I knew I would stay here for an 'extended' period of time I brought several comforts from home. I used my own bedding and towels. Most hotel towels are too rough and their towels were typical hotel towels so I used sparingly. If you have to stay for an extended period of time buy a feather bed to use on top of mattress. The mattress was entirely too hard for me. The kitchen was adequate. There is no oven or dishwasher just sink, microwave, two burners for stove and regular size refrigerator. The A/C was too cold which was fine after a long day in the Florida sun but at night when I'm trying to sleep it's either too cold or too humid and the A/C was somewhat loud. The cable TV is not 'premium' it's pretty basic. I'm a TV watcher so I ended up ordering Hulu.com to watch my shows on my laptop. You do have the internet option for $4.99 for your total stay but I upgraded to the high speed internet which was $30 for a month and it worked beautifully. My only major complaint with this hotel was the noise of children running up and down halls all hours of the day especially at night. Well at least I think they were children. No pool or gym but you can get a pass to the Bally's Gym which is five minutes away to use during your stay. Laundry room is good but be careful of the few indigents that stay in the hotel as a permanent place dumping their clothes on top of yours to use your wash. Yes that happened to me. I reported it to the front desk but there wasn't much they could do but refunded me for a wash. I ended up re-washing my clothes. This hotel is located on a busy highway so be prepared for work traffic if you have to be in it in the mornings. There appeared to be quite of few of us there worked and were leaving out around the same time in the mornings. There also appeared to be a lot of families, not sure if they were vacationing or using the hotel as a permanent place. There are plenty of eating establishments around some within walking distance and a grocery store just a couple of minutes away. Security wise it does appear secured. I wasn't aware of any problems. They did change the door locks from a card with punch holes to a swipe card to get into room while I was staying there. They did this a week before I left and I didn't feel it was as secure as the previous card. Overall I was impressed with my stay and would recommend this to anyone. Just ask to be on the top floor since you can hear people running around.

When I come to the Clearwater/St. Petes area, I always stay here. First of all, it's hard to find any place cheaper than this. Also, it has a beautiful parking area and a nature pond as you drive in and out that always has ducks, turtles, herons, white sea birds, etc. The front desk people are always friendly and helpful. The place is always nice and quiet for sleeping and it's clean with no bugs. It is also in a great location between the fun of Clearwater, Tampa and St. Petersburg. It is close to the main highways and main streets. The lobby is quiet without any unscrupulous characters hanging around. If you want WiFi internet, you pay a small one-time fee for your whole trip (I paid $4). I highly recommend this place.

During our week stay we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and facilities well maintained. Great value for the price! Definitely stay there again. Location great for getting to Beaches, Tampa and sports stadiums both sides of Tampa Bay.

Was "forced" into this so-called hotel due to the Indy race that had all the other rooms booked nearby. I should have realized that there was a reason there were rooms available. It was horrid. The lady at the desk was pleasant and nice enough but that was as far as it went. The room was putrid, the bed was lousy (literally), and the "amenities" consist of a small TV. There was a refrigerator and stove but neither was particularly clean. I was booked for 3 nights but left after one and found a room several miles away.
