We booked this room based upon the fact that it was a Hampton Inn. Our experience has shown us that Hamptons are clean, safe and make for an enjoyable stay. I should have checked trip advisor first as this was not the case at this Hampton. We arrived at night, and as was said by other reviewers, the road is under construction, the hotel looked old, the doors of the rooms face the outside, the room numbers are impossible to see from the parking lot at night due to poor lighting, it seemed quite sketchy. We entered the room and you could tell the room was old but renovated. It was very small, but appeared nice. The bathroom is super small, the door almost hits the toilet when it's open. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom. There is no refrigerator. When we turned on the shower, the water sprayed everywhere, even over the shower curtain. We tried to turn the head, and that's when it completely fell off. We tried to put the head back on, to which then it still shot out over the curtain, but did come down in a solid stream. It was like taking a shower under a garden hose. Tried to call the front desk, it was just after 10 pm...the phone rang and rang...no one answered. Figured we would just stick it out at this point...didn't want to walk outside the poorly lit building to go to a front desk no one was answering. Pulled back the sheets, they smelled clean, but I could clearly see a yellow stain on the fitted sheet. The complimentary breakfast was very good, lots of variety and tasty. When I checked out, I told the front desk about the shower head and that I tried to call the front desk. He politely shared in my disappointment, said he was sorry, told me he would get it fixed for the next customer and then happily handed me my bill. Someone walked up behind me at this point, I was going to mention the sheets, but didn't think it mattered.
