We really enjoyed our recent stay here at Clearwater Beach. The hotel is directly on the intercoastal waterway with beautiful views- esp for sunsets! Our room had a big balcony, microwave, and a fridge. Nice coffee shop in the lobby with nice snacks.There is a restaurant next to the pool where live music is played in the afternoon. Heated pool was great for my daughter to swim in. There is a gameroom and a great gift shop next to the pool. There's even a nail/hair salon on the first floor as well. Several great restaurants within walking distance and mini golf. Beautiful white sand beach 1 block away- the sand is so soft almost like flour! Pier 60 a little further down the beach has a great sunset celebration each night. On Fridays and Saturdays for sunset, they play a movie on the big screen right on the beach. There's a great playground for the kids to play on. The pier is nice and local artisans were selling their crafts. This was a great family getaway and hope to go back soon!

Sitting right at the spot where the Gulf of Mexico meets Tampa Bay, this hotel has the best views in Clearwater Beach. During certain times of the year, you can watch both the sunrise and sunset from this property. There's a very good casual restaurant on site and the heated pool was great during our November visit. Rooms are clean, common areas are nice... The only negative I can think of is that the hotel is about a block or two from beach access, but the views more than make up for it, in my opinion.

If you like a little nightlife on your vacation, you're just a few steps away from Shephard's which has a great tiki bar, dancing, live music, and a nice restaurant. The dance club doesn't get going until 11 or midnight, but who cares? Sleep in, you're on vacation!

My wife, my son and I spent three nights at this hotel for Gasparilla Day. The reservation system was easy to use and room descriptions and prices were accurate. I rented a two room, ocean front suite and that is exactly what I got. The view was great and room spacious. Check in was quick and very friendly. Rooms were clean and didn't look too worn. The on site restaurants and bar were reasonable and the they had live entertainment. The food was good. We had it delivered one night for room service and it was prompt and tasty. Also the hotel was nearby to plenty of other restaurants and places to see. Clearwater Beach was also only a five minute walk. Check out was effortless and they allowed me to use their computers and printers for viewing and printing directions and boarding passes.

I really don't have any negatives for this place. It's not a five star hotel but they don't charge for, or advertise themselves as one. It's a nice hotel if you are looking for good place to stay in the middle of Clearwater Beach at a reasonable price.

The good:
Modern hotel, nice pool area and pool was warm.
Great restaurant attached named "Jimmy's Fish house" where kids eat free if you are staying at the hotel.
Clean rooms.

The not so good:
They charge $12.00/day for parking.
The rooms are not all suites. The room we stayed in was a regular room with two beds.
When checking in one lady was somewhat rude and indifferent. The other lady working the front desk was nice though.
This hotel is not on the beach, although it is just a short walk to Clearwater beach.

All in all I thought the value wasn't there for the price of the stay. There are many other options in florida for hotels on the beach that are more reasonable and have more to offer.
