Nice hotel very friendly staff for the most part. Small rooms but great location

We recently stayed in this hotel from Jan 19-22 2012. Our room was small but neat and had a great little fridge which was a nice surpirse. The room was situated on the 7th floor which gave a great view of the harbour but it also looked out onto the main street which resulted in 3 night of little sleep. The rooms are paper thin and we could hear everything going in the hotel. After our first night we didn't have our room attended to until after 2:30 after which point I gave up and put up the do not disturb sign. The next day we had early service. The beach location is great and you can walk everywhere and feel very safe. During our 2nd day a large tent was being constructed on the beach which was very noisy and frustrating when your trying to have a relaxing holiday.Overall the hotel was clean and bedbug free! Great location but stay away from the hotel restaurant as its very expensive.. Try out the Palm Pavillion restaurant for great food!

This is possibly the best location on the entire beach - Crabby Bills is across the street, you are literally right on the white sand beach, marina is only a block or two walk, and Pier 60 is also only a block or two away. This hotel wins hands down for location.

However, if location isn't your top priority then you will be paying a lot ($250ish/nite) for a very dated, somewhat dirty hotel. I was taking a bath and thinking of how the bathroom really needed updating and a thorough cleaning...eew.

For us, we would stay here again because the location was that perfect, my husband walked to his fishing charter in the morning and I walked to the beach, and in the evenings we walked to dinner. Anytime I can park the rental car I am all for it :)

The location of the Hilton Clearwater Beach Hotel is right on the beach. This was our second time to this hotel and will go back again. The staff goes above and beyond, the rooms are updated and the beds comfortable. The towels were even soft and they offered real beach towels for the pool and beach. We had a balcony and spent some quality time watching the views and relaxing. I can highly recommend this hotel.
