I spent alot of time researching and studying google earth to get a feel of the neighborhood around the North Beach...I came down for an event at the SANDs hotel - just me and my 4 year old- hunsabd was to show for 1 night later. The Sands Hotel which was $$300 a night!! so either i stay one night there or 3 nights here literally 5 blocks down the street! I am so glad we found ROYAL NORTH BEACH i originally booked 3 nights and then every day would extend another day... it was THAT fabulous, weather perfect!
i ended up staying 6 nights.
My husband came for 2 nights to join me and our 4 yr old and even though he LIKES a full service hotel he agreed it was the best value & largest rooms! We had a living area and eat in kitchen and a separate bedroom and bath, like our own apartment! Perfect walk to beach easy to order food in, and eat by pool (just clean up after!) and perfect for what we wanted. The ladies who seemed to do all the managing and cleaning were amazing and so kind with helping and answering questions! Kitchen was clean and basically just what one would need! If i was absolutely forced to say what could be improved i would simply say the mattress was too soft for me and seemed to slant to the middle, and i wished it was a king not a full bed since i shared it with my kid. BUT let me reiterate- ON the beach, heated pool, laundry room avail, pool toys avail, locked main gate ( it was me just with 4 yr old so i might have been a bit concerned about safety) and who can beat less that 90 bucks a night!!! wow! i will rebook for sure anytime i return to clearwater beach , which by the way, is SOO pretty. We took advatnage and drove down to St pete and the Don Caesar hotel for a beach day there which also boasts a gorgeous beach with servers who can bring lunch out to you on the sands! ALL fabulous! We also did the clearwater aquarium to see Winter the Dolphin.. All in all simply great and felt like a 5 star vaca yet NOT pricey whatsoever!!
