There is apparently a motorcross dirtbike course behind the hotel. (Look on Google maps, satellite, just to the South, behind the hotel.) I listened to it most of the evening, up until 10pm when I found a white noise generator on the internet to block the noise. The walls are a little thin too. I could hear my neighbor's tv and talking. If you stay here, stay on the Ulmerton Rd side of the building if you don't want to listen to motorcycles coming in your window. One of the tiles has fallen off my wall and is laying on the floor. Other than that, the staff are nice. And this is a slightly more modern Hampton Inn. The "green" features of the hote are slightly annoying, like coming into a stuffy, hot room (appears to have a sensor on the thermostat that shuts off if no movement) and not having the ability to control the a/c very well (the "fan" option is locked - which would've been a way to block motorcycle noise). The hallways are also really stuffy and hot. The location isn't near the beach or attractions unless you happen to be one of the motorcross riders going to the track behind the hotel.
