Good location and price. Housekeeping is not good though. The bed wasn't fully made and the cups and ice tray liners were never replaced. No movies and the phone didn't work. Wifi was good and the pool was ok. Recommend for one or two nights. Anything longer find another hotel.

I stayed here with my mom for two extra days after a cruise out of Tampa. We basically wanted to shop and go to Clearwater beach. Location wise this place did not disappoint. It is about a 20 drive from the Tampa airport, and very close to several malls and major stores such as Target, Kmart, and Walmart. Clearwater beach is also only a 10 minute drive away.
Now about the hotel. What can I say, it's old and has seen better days for sure. It was one of the biggest rooms I have seen in a long time. The room smelled like smoke, and needed painted to cover all of the hand prints & marks on the walls. Basic coffee machine, large bar fridge, electronic safe, and the remote to the TV worked!
This place is not exactly nice but it was quiet, the beds were comfortable and it was in a pretty good location.

This hotel was a lot nicer than I was expecting. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The location was ok but the next time we stay in Clearwater we will try to find something a little closer to the beach. However it will be hard to find anything that is such a good value. We had to drive at least 15 minutes to get to most of the things we wanted to do (beach, Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks, pirate cruise). If you are planning to be in the area for Spring Training, though, the Phillies stadium was not far. Breakfast was pretty good but practically no protein. I wish they would have had peanut butter packets for the toast. The only real complaint was that the hot tub water was cool - in fact it was colder than the pool. I should not have been sitting in the hot tub shivering with cold.

stayed here for 2 nights, right next to interstate- VERY loud... Our room smelled discusting, i would not stay here again. The AC was also very loud, kept me up all night....The only positive thing I can say is that the rooms are big.
