In my opinion the room was not as clean as I would have wanted it to be the walls are dirty, hair on the sheets, shower head was dirty, the tub bottom wasn't clean. The lobby wasn't clean either there was dirt on the floor, and had a strange odor &the check in desk was cluttered it even had a pack of cigarettes laying in plain view of the guest. When we went to check in the lady working the front desk said that she did not know what rooms were ready yet... she seemed to not know what was going on. Very unprofessional. I was not impressed with the breakfast either. The hotel is situated in a questionable area of town. I would not stay here again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is about a ten minute drive to the beach. It is very clean. The room was spacious with a separate living room area. It had a refrigerator & microwave. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was good. It had an above average selection for a hotel. The pool was small, but clean. You definitely need a car if you stay here. It is a short drive to any restaurants or attractions. This hotel is a good value. We would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for several nights while in Dunedin looking at property.

The hotel was fine, and met our needs. The room was clean and well-equipped. Wifi did not work in the rooms, however, which was a pain. We used the internet available in the lobby instead. "Breakfast" was the usual minimal packaged stuff, i.e. pretty awful.

This hotel is right on the water, on the sound, but is on the northern limit of Clearwater, and thus is not near the beach. Or anything else really. It was about a 15 minute drive to downtown Dunedin, which was fine, but you couldn't walk anywhere from the hotel--no restaurants, convenience stores, nothing.

This hotel is in a good location for those who want to be within easy driving distance of Clearwater yet don't want to be situated right on the beach. Unfortunately, the location is the best thing about this hotel. That and the staff are very nice.

The rooms are very tired with wallpaper coming off the walls in places and other maintainance issues (and the showerhead is the stuff of nightmares). There was plastic on the mattresses and cheap, holey sheets and nylon bedspreads. The air-conditioning is not timed or temperature sensing so it is impossible to find a good temperature throughout the night. We were alternated between sweating and shivering all night as a result.

The breakfast was a joke. The breakfast area is very small and when we went down, we were unable to find a table. The other guests were particularly thoughtless in this case - one sat at a table with her laptop, not eating, for 30 mins, while we waited for a table. I realise this is not the hotel's fault but there should be more of an encouragement to use the other spaces in the hotel (like the lobby) if there is no space in the eating area. We ended up eating our breakfast outside, with the smokers (as a non-smoker, I immediately lost my appetite).

The facilities for cooking your own breakfast were okay and the staff were quick to replenish bread and pastries but the issue of space meant that even when seated inside, there was always someone hovering over you. It was not a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

I would not recommend the hotel based on the quality of their facilities or their rooms and I'm sure that there are much nicer motels in the area. We paid a premium rate to stay at Comfort Suites because we had not been disappointed with their quality and service in the past. The service is still there but the quality in this hotel is lacking.
