My husband and i spend our last for days of our honeymoon there,it was perfect, the resort is beautiful the sight seeing is amazing and the staff was wonderful.We would recommend to anyone who needs a relaxing vacation this is the spot!! We were so sad to leave!!!

I was invited to go to the BB for celebrating my friend's birthday. She and her family had stayed before and just loved it, so i heard the stories and everything. Upon arrival the outside just took my breath away, and then you go to the lobby and then it's even more beautiful.

After we got settled in our room which to say was a 2 room suit with four beds and a view, so very pretty, we went venturing. The inside pool and spa was beyond belief, when we traveled outside we saw the ouside pool wich was amazing, it had a waterfall going into the pool and in the middle was a little concrete isle from which to dive from, words couldn't describe its beauty

I also would have to say the best part was at night. The whole family and friends went venturing and taking pictures because we had heard of the variouse ghost stories. We found an old elevator that was never supose to work, but when we pressed the up botton it started working.(to our surprise)We were all so scared when the doors opened. We ran down the hallway as fast as we could, many spine chilling things happened and it was all so amazing. When it re-opens i will deffinetly stay at the Bellview another night and return home with many more stories to share.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and it was wonderful. We loved the icecream parlor and all the outdoor seating. The pool was great and the tour was a lot of fun. I loved the shower and how spacious our room was. The staff could've been friendlier but overall I would stay there again.

Just stayed there about a week before they close for renovations and I love the place. Beautiful, old hotel. If you're expecting a modern, new hotel, this is not it, but with an ice cream parlor, indoor/outdoor pools, and multiple tree-shaded verandas w/rocking chairs, I'd much prefer to stay here than someplace else. You could spend forever just walking around the place and looking at everything. The rooms are large, with very large walk-in closets (we had 2 in a basic 2 bed room).

You do have to take a short shuttle out to the beach (abt 5 min), but it really wasn't bad and the full service amenities at the beach (cabana service, restaurant/bar, locker room, showers, & pool) were very nice.

About the only negative thing was a couple instances of bad service, at the bar and at breakfast. The former was just a rude bartender and the latter was due to the fact that since they're closing so soon, they short on staff. That will probably clear up after re-opening.

Overall I loved it and am planning on going back in 2012. Finally, if you've ever seen the movie Dirty Dancing, this hotel is Kellerman's. That alone makes it interesting!
