My family discovered Seahorse Landing and Cedar Key about 7 or 8 years ago and it is our favorite "escape" from the real world. Seahorse Landing has always been clean, friendly, and peaceful. Each unit is tastefully decorated and the wall of windows overlooking the bay is breathtaking. My personal favorite part is the outside deck where you can watch all manner of sea birds, dolphins playing in the bay and gorgeous sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.

My husband and I and a sister and brother-in-law stayed at Seahorse Landing Friday and Saturday nights in April 2010. When we arrived at 11am, I checked in and was given keys. We were able to actually move our things in at 1:30 (check in is 4pm). The place was absolutely spotless. Linens were top quality. Full kitchen, beautiful views out the full wall of windows facing the gulf. We stayed in #502. The furnishings were very nice and we liked being the furthest from the pool and dock, so less noise if there was a lot of pool activity. View was spectacular and sunsets gorgeous. We would have liked to have blinds in bedrooms though to block out the security lights outside. Grounds were very neat and tidy. They are very eco-friendly also; using all eco-friendly products, recycling, etc. We looked at other locations while there, and this one still was the best for a laid-back vacation. Can't wait to go back!

We come every year. We love the recreation, relaxation and restaurants. We love the quaintness of the town and the friendliness of the people.

Cedar Keys is a wonderful secret. If you want a quiet get away, relax, fish, read type of holiday, this is it! Southern charm and hospitality are everywhere. The views are lovely and unspoilt. We stayed at Seahorse Landing and were very pleased with our condo. It was well stocked, clean and the grounds were beautifully looked after. We had lovely furniture on the balcony where we looked out across the water and the many different types of sea birds. The pool and hot tub area were also overlooking the water and well cared for. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend Seahorse Landing and Cedar Keys and would go there again
