Stayed here just for the night with our three daughters (aged 6, 4 and 2) but really loved this place. The spots are a bit tight but then again big enough for a 25 ft RV and we had a small wooden pier at our waterview spot.
The children loved playing at the pier and our neighbors showed them how to catch blue crabs with a net and the smaller crabs by hand. They really had a lot of fun and so did we.
The campground is small but tidy. Bathhouse is decent with only four or five toilets / showers, but while we were here no waiting lines. It has a restaurant and shop, the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and the shop has really great homemade fudge in all kinds of flavors. If we would be near Cedar Key again, we would definitely stay here (and try some fudge).More
