We rented two units. 314 (2 bedroom) and 109 (1 Bedroom). The property is perfectly located and has a nice pool and a beach in front. The problem with the place is that it is absolutely filthy. The grounds are covered with stray cats whom the staff actually feeds! The stench of cat dropping was so intense beneath the waterfront porch of room 109 that my inlaws could not use it. They actually left early even with the room paid for another day. I stayed in 314 and it was just plain gross. The carpet had huge stains and actually was entirely discolored with filch. We tried to vac to make do as we had rented it for 4 days but the carpet was too disgusting to make much difference. It is obvious that the staff does not have a clue. They are really nice, friendly, but they don't notice the state of the place or the rooms. If you enjoy living in a kennel for cats, rock on you will love this place. I don't know, maybe they are trying to corner the "Cat Lady" market?

What a great place........A 2 bedroom,2bath,with a washer dryer,kitchen with dish washer and living room on the 3rd floor over looking the Gulf....what a beautiful place....clean and fully stocked with everything you need...The view was amazing....the pool and hot tub a plus...spent most of out free time there....we drove around in the condo,s golf cart taking pictures of all the scenery and buildings which was nice.......everything was just wonderful and would go back in a minute......we were a party of 5 with different interest..from fishing from the pier to lazing by the pool to taking pictures of rustic building...we were there from Monday through Thursday so it was a little slow but that didn't compromise our stay at all.....we just want to kick back and enjoy life....We eat supper out on the balcony, watched dolphins , pelicans as we enjoyed the peace of the day.....Love it,,,recommend it to all that want or need to get away from the fast pace of everyday life........planning on going back again soon......staff is helpful and makes you feel welcomed and a part of the family.......

We spent a week at the Island Place. Very nice size, modern facilities, and comfortable for a "condotel". Where we were staying, on the southeast side of the property, the wireless WIFI signal was too weak. If that's important to you, select a room near the office. Park in your assigned spot. When we checked in, our assigned spot was occupied. the clerk told us to park anywhere, which we did. The next morning, the guy whose spot I was parked in "keyed" out my work parking sticker on my car. Not the Island Place's fault, though. Spa was closed for 5 of the 7 days I was there because they were waiting for a repair part.

The view was great with a very clean pool small but nice the chairs needs to be replaced as my grandson cut his leg he's 4.The lady said he should not have stood on it.the webing was wide and his leg went through it. the bar was broken with rust on it and he will have a scar,she didn't care at all.there was a dead roach on the floor and the refg.didn't get cold until the next morning.rooms were clean,the board walk was very loud when you walked on it so we heard when ever people came by all hours of the night.The cats was the terrible part I know people love them and so do I. there are too many here i had cat hair all over my clothes from them being on the porch and table couldn't eat outside.the lady said she liked cats better then kids.......
