We had visited Cedar Key many times but not actually stayed there. My Husband's wish was to spend a week there, and as I usually have the last say on vacations, I agreed to this. Am I glad I did. We had a fabulous apartment right on the beach with views to the Islands. There was not a day when we did not see dolphins close up. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurants, the seafood being a speciality. Although some miles from the nearest interstate, it was well worth a weeks vacation. We loved the local people, and were even invited to a barbaque. We had a great night.

It certainly was worth the journey from the the UK. We certainly will return again.

every year for the past 8 year gto airboats has held a fishing tour...each year and we stay at cedar cove and it is better that park place or any other place in cedar key graet place to stay

We found Cedar Key by accident. We were staying on the Homasassa River for the week and saw a small add in a travel paper. Cedar Key was billed as the "Island That Time Forgot".

We drove up and have never stayed anyplace else in Florida.

We ate lunch at The Seabreeze and my husband walked over to Cedar Cove Beach And Yacht Cove while I was picking out post cards. He came back running with a booklet and insisted that we take a look right then at what has become our "once a year paradise".

There is noplace on earth that treats us like Cedar Cove and everthing is always just perfect, including "Spike" at Cook's Restaurant.

Thanks to Fritz and all the staff and we'll see you in November.
