Not what I would call an enjoyable place. The price and the customer service makes it not too bad. As some mentioned, the place has that musty, stinky smell to it from the moment you open the elevator. you can tell it has been worn down, but probably they are not getting enough business to renovate.
Anyways, I ended up not spending any significant time at the hotel itself, leave early morning and come back to crash.
Customer service was outstanding though, every time, staff was great and helpful.
If you are looking for a place just to crash and got no choice, this would do.

Price was reasonable but was not happy with condition of the hotel. Our room needed updating, carpet was worn and the walls were 1970's. The toilet backed up twice, the first time I was told "Maintenance staff will not be around for another 1/2 hour" Solution the brought me a plunger and thought I should clear the bowl. The second time the staff said the problem was low water toilets. When we checked out they had added $2.27 for a phone call but I never used the phone (that's what cell phones are for), they removed the charge but it should not have been on the bill.

I would recommend this hotel for an overnight business stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was dated but the rest of the room had been remodeled. The lobby was inviting. The free breakfast was very good. I had a hard time finding a restaurant nearby, I settled on the Perkins in the front parking lot. There is a CVS and a Publix grocery store nearby. The hotel is very convenient to US 41 but is a few miles from I-75. The front lot was full so I had to park out back to check in. The back door is apparently locked during the day so I had to trek around the building through the grass to check-in which was inconvenient. The staff was courteous. This hotel was more than adequate for an overnight stay.

Excellent value and off the main road so peaceful nights rest.....the pool was quiet but temperature of the water a treat,
