Never staying at Marriott again. These people need to learn a few things from Hyatt or Hampton Inn on service. when we checked in they gave us a room that was already occupied. I walked in and fortunately the guests staying in the room were out. I went to front desk to tell them and the manager said it was no big deal, just gave us keys to a different room. No apology, no upgrade, no nothing. The next room had leftover food in refrigerator. Very,very small room, comfortable bed. We had to wrestle with sliding patio door to open. pool over chlorinated. Very loud, obnoxious people at people looking for a fight. Bath tub shower had mold.

I stayed at this hotel for one night while on business in Boca Raton. I arrived at around 10 PM and was able to grab a quick bite in the Bistro, a small bar/restaurant right in the lobby. It was fine but ridiculously overpriced. They do it because they have a captive audience -- there is no inexpensive dining within walking distance. Also beware about where you park. When I checked in, the agent asked me where I had parked. When I told her, she said that was part of the restaurant across the street, and that I would have to move my car. The room was also a very long way from the elevator (room 233), so getting my luggage from my car was somewhat of an ordeal. The hotel literature advertised that coffee would be available in the lobby at 6 AM. However, it was not ready, so I had to go back to the room and make the wretched "in room" coffee for my first cup of the day. But the hotel itself, and the room, were just fine. I would consider this place again if I happened to come back to Boca.

Big problems on the cleanliness and service….

I know this was mentioned in other reviews, but our experience was not good at all in regards to Housekeeping. First day we left room early AM, returned 2PM to find nobody cleaned the room. We put the sign until close to 5PMa s we thought our daughter will sleep. As it did not happen we left and went to front desk to ask for Housekeeping service. Big surprise, all left for the day was the answer. After few files check, actually we were told our room is marked as done. With my eyes popping up I did not know what to reply other than we would not have been there to ask if room was done. Next 2 days they came but service was one of the worst received, a wine glass which we found when we came in outside on the balcony was there when we left…
I never booked this hotel by my own choice, was arranged by somebody else but next time will definitely not go there.
Other than this, good things were free wireless internet, big room facing a small outside pool, a breakfast area (limited choices) with Starbucks Coffee and could purchase beverages or snacks beside the front desk.

The hotel was a great value. The courtyard is nice.
There were many nice restarurants within walking
distance from the hotel. We had a very nice
King size bed and great view.
