I come to this beautiful hotel and location twice a year. I come to relax, spend time with family and sit on the beach with a good book. Every time I come, I never want to leave.
My last visit was the first week of August 2010. The weather was perfect and the dolphins swam in front of the hotel and jumped out of the water all day long-- It was amazing! The beach, the sunsets and the tranquility is never disappointing.
We also had a wonderful time at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. We enjoy the quaint shops nearby and the wonderful restaurants.

The room was great, with the separte bedroom, and the kitchen had everything I needed. My favorite part is the balcony ,where I sit and watch the sunset.
I also think the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, what a great group!

I read the review from August 18th, 2010, they should have stayed and qiven it a chance they would have had a great time!

We had a gulf-front suite - the views were to die for! The property is in an area of gorgeous beachfront homes, which makes for a supremely peaceful experience, akin to having your own private beach! It is rare to find a place in such a non-commercial setting. The suite was comfortable and outfitted with every conceivable necessity. The price was right, too - very reasonable, particularly considering the priceless views and the peace and quiet. We really liked the location - very convenient to excellent restaurants just a couple of miles in either direction on Gulf Blvd. We enjoyed lots of good local seafood, etc. We were hoping for a nice, quiet vacation and this was the perfect place for it. We're looking forward to a return trip as soon as possible!

Every negative review I have read is absolutely correct. I should have listened to the reviews. As soon as we opened the door the musty smell was awful. The carpet was disgusting. The microwave was rusted. The furniture was so badly stained I would not even sit down. They say not pets allowed, well I wouldn't consider bringing my dog there. My husband and I checked out and went elsewhere. If you are planning to stay here PLEASE read ALL the negative reviews because they are right. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!

We had a great stay! The suite was nicely equipped, contained everything we could possibly have needed. Really appreciate the quiet location [it is located among beautiful beachfront homes] which made for a supremely peaceful time, perfect for us. This is our third stay here & we're completely certain that the negative postings are mistakenly attributed to this place and are surely meant for another motel approx a block away, with a very similar name, so it would be easy to mistake the two places, as there are only a couple of motels in this otherwise residential area & they're approx a block apart. We actually stayed in "the other one" over a yr ago & it certainly deserves all the criticism. It was so bad, we checked out of it when we found this one, further up the road. Bellair Beach Club at 3200 N Gulf Blvd is our favorite "getaway" place now & we'll keep coming back. Management couldn't be nicer [they always treat us right] the location's super and the rates are unbelieveably low. [We put the address in just to be sure our review is attributed to the right place!]
