I come to Wilmington a lot due to our company’s headquarters being in the city. The hotel I usually stay at was sold out so I had to find other accommodations. I made a reservation at the Sheraton and was surprised at the service and size of the guest’s rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful and let me know everything I needed to know about the hotel as I informed them it was my first time at the hotel. The guest rooms were spacious and I felt like I was in the comforts of my own home. The furniture is a little dated but when I was discussing with the front desk they informed me they were going to replace the furniture in the upcoming year. The Sheraton has gained a new customer with me

Stayed over Thanksgiving and I have to say that the staff is awesome, very friendly. The rooms are all suites and while they could use to be renovated, we found them to be very clean. The hotel was very conveniently located near I-95 and easy to get to the malls for Black Friday shopping. I LOVE TAX FREE SHOPPING!!!.
We look forward to going to back and staying at the hotel in the future.

The initial service from the front desk is professional and attentive, unfortunately my stay was less than perfect . As a recent reviewer mentioned the place is dirty and the furniture is stained. My room had not been properly cleaned but I didn't complain as was there for 12 hours. I was on the 4th floor and when the band started in the lounge at 8 on a thursday night the drums and bass permeated my room to the point I could hear over the tv and knew I couldn't sleep through. I complained and was promptly moved to the 15 th floor but that was a pain. I don't understand how they can book a band and allow the volume to be that high that it fills the guest rooms. The staff member that moved my room said it happens every Thursday night. Go figure

Check in was fast and friendly. We had booked a room for a full week. This is my 3rd stay at this Sheraton. We keep getting booked here via Priceline.

It has been at least a year since my last stay at this Sheraton and I was very disappointed that the serious housekeeping issues have not changed one bit. And I think they might be worse. Upon check in in the room was very grungy and generally felt unclean. Carpet was visibly stained and dirty. Furniture: all soiled and stained. All of it. Hair on the bathroom floor.

As I had stated, we were booked for seven days and two of those days our room received NO service whatsoever, despite having vacated the room by 12 noon. It seems their housekeeping staff quits work and heads home at noon. I do like to leave a tip for housekeeping as I believe they work very hard. But not this time! One day instead of servicing our room, they just left a bag of clean towels outside the front door.

The housekeeping issues are confusing and a shame. This could be quite a decent hotel and it seems like such a simple fix. Why can't this Sheraton figure it out and get the housekeeping staff up to standard?
