This was my second time staying at this motel and both time I have been very satified with my stay. Both time I stayed I made reservation for several rooms and all the guests were very satified with the rooms.They said they will always booked rooms at this motel when they come to Wilmington, Del.

You get what you pay for at this motel. Rates are great but facility is just OK. On the positive side: front desk very nice at check in; breakfast was good; very nice pool, very comfortable beds. On the downside: trash on sidewalk outside of our room was there for the entire three days, we were in the room late one morning ( until 9:45 a.m.) and as result our room was not cleaned that day. That can be somewhat understandable but the follow up was very aggravating. I went to the front desk to get towels, coffee and toilet paper since there was no maid service. Everything went well until I asked for toilet paper and was questioned about how I could possibility need more since there should have been two in the room. I had to justify my need before the clerk would release the apparently valuable. To add insult to injury, she expliained that she was concened about toilet paper theft. OMG, I can get your $2 towels but not your 25 cent TP. Very insulting so never again at this motel for us.

We booked this hotel because of a discount with AAA. Check-In time was supposed to be at 3pm. After a 6 1/2 hr drive from New England, we arrived at 4pm and were told that our room wasn't ready but that we should go shopping at the "lovely Marshalls" across the street. Needless to say, we were less than thrilled because we have Marshalls in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and we didn't drive 6 1/2 hrs to have to wait to check in when we were already checking in an hr after check in time.

The following day, we were gone all day and our room wasn't even cleaned. We got new shampoos and towels and that was it- the beds weren't made and who knows what else wasn't done. There are plenty of hotels on the Concord Pike- this is advertised as a hotel but is actually a motel, any of the others in the area have to be better. I would NOT recommend this motel.

Susan's attitude was rude and very disrespectful when asked simple request such as clean towel. She was extremely unprofessional and has caused us to deciede to not use this hotel again. She acted as if we were bothering her by calling to ask for needed item. It is not worth the trouble. I warned my family and friends. However the young man that handles the breakfast is very friendly and helpful. It is a good idea to keep David at the front desk he has been nothing but delightful. We had to use our personal cleaning product to clean the tub- apprently it was skipp prior to check-in.
