My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our honeymoon night 2/19-2/20. Upon entering room #124 at 3am after our wedding, it looked decent. I went to get in the shower and noticed body hair all over the bathroom floor, like no one ever swept. I turned on the shower and the water came out of the faucet brown. I had to run the water for about 15 minutes until it ran clear. I noticed standing water in the bottom on the tub while showering. Then when I got out of the shower, the water was soaking wet from the tub leaking. We had to use 3 or 4 towels to soak up the water before it ran out the bathroom door into the living area. While I was in the shower my husband called the front desk and the night time front desk staff offered to leave a note but never offered to switch our room. Upon leaving the next morning 2/20 we notified the front desk staff and she personally called the manager Mary Taylor and asked if she should comp the room. Mary Taylor told her not to comp the room, that she would handle it on Monday morning 2/21. We never heard from Mary on Monday all day, I had to actually try to contact her that evening. When I called Monday evening 2/21, the girl at the front desk Nikki lied to cover for Mary by telling me she was on the phone and then all of a sudden she was out of the office. Nikki was rude and talked to me like I was a child, I could tell she didn't believe me. Wednesday 2/23 came around and Mary still hadn't returned my call so I tracked her down at the hotel. She also was extremely rude to me and said she had to investigate the situation. I asked her if she was going to return the $ to my card and she stated "I most certainly will not be doing that." She stated that she upgraded the room to a king executive suite and charged us a normal king room price, even though we never asked her to do that. It is now Tuesday 3/1 and we have left 5 messages total for Mary Taylor since that night, put in 2 complaints with the corporate office and also disbuted the charge with our credit card. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. We booked 12 rooms with them for our out of town wedding guests and to treat the bride and groom with such disrespect on their wedding night is rediculous. I will never ever stay at this hotel again nor reccomend it to anyone, maybe to my worst enemy.
