“Clean. Comfortable. No complaints at all.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

My family (3 rooms) had to stay in Seaford to attend a funeral and spent the night in the Hampton Inn on Route 13, just outside of Seaford. It was convenient to the town. We were greeted quickly as we came in. The front desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. The rooms, sheets, carpets and bathrooms were clean and pleasant to stay in. The breakfast in the morning was what you expect - no complaints at all from us. This is not a resort where you might spend a vacation, but it was perfect for out needs. I have no trouble recommending it for a future stay.

“Typical Hotel but comfortable.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011

We are spending two nights here and we still have one to go. First impression: average rooms, nothing fancy, clean and relatively new. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly but I haven't seen any other staff since. The front desk is empty but it looks like there is a side office and they would probably come out if I went to the desk. The bed was very clean and comfortable and my husband and I both slept well. The toilet is very loud when flushed which isn't a deal breaker. Breakfast is from 6AM until 10AM and is more than adequate. There is cooked eggs and sausage, oatmeal fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods, bagels, toast, coffee, tea, juices and make your own waffles. Another plus is it sits next to Walmart and Applebees so you can just walk to them. They also offer several 10% discounts to a couple eating places nearby. I think most of you would find this a good place to stay if you aren't looking for fancy. Oh, and another well kept secret, it is A LOT cheaper to call the hotel directly to make reservations than to go through one of those on-line sites. For two nights, for two king rooms, we saved at least $50 or more. Enjoy!!

“Can't Go Wrong Here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2011

Hubby and I stayed over night here in Nov. 2011 because it was the halfway point in our trip south to see family. It's right on Route 13, which is convenient, but ask for a room away from the road, which we didn't. You could hear the steady hum of traffic until about 10:30. That, however, was the only downside. The front desk and breakfast hostess were so pleasant. Clean, comfy. Well stocked breakfast. You can't go wrong by staying here.

Room Tip: Ask for one not facing Route 13.

“Great place to stay”

Great hotel and great value. Very clean, friendly front desk, and breakfast included. We were in the area for a baseball tournament. Not much else to do in the area. Beaches are pretty far away and not many restaraunts other than a few chains. But for convenience you can't beat Applebee's next door.

“Hampton Inns - Always a good stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

Stayed at the Hampton Inn, Seaford, Delaware, for business on August 25-27, 2011. As can be expected, the property fulfilled my expectations: the room was clean and comfortable; there was an ample breakfast; the staff was accomodating and very knowledgeable about the pending hurricane (past experience on flooding in the general area, etc.).

The hotel was fully booked because residents at the beaches were under mandatory evacuation orders and travellers were headed north from the southern states. The staff handled constant phone calls efficiently and professionally. Breakfast was fully stocked and the rooms cleaned promptly. Couldn't ask for more.
