“Service With a Smile”

What sells this B&B is Sharon, the owner/inkeeper. She is gracious, friendly, and accomodating. It is not the most luxurious we've stayed in but that's not why we chose it. We stayed in the 'master suite' which is spacious, nicely appointed, and is the only room with an en suite bathroom. Our only 'complaint' was the 9" tv! Not that we wanted to watch much tv, but in this day and age it was quite a shock! Well that and the cable going out and us having to spend 2 hours one night on the phone with Comcast! But I digress... the location is great, breakfast was served in the dining room which did get a bit crowded with most of the rooms taken up. The breakfast was simple but well done. Coming home in the evening to homemade sweets was a nice touch. We stayed in the off season so enjoyed reduced rates AND a 3rd night free for booking 2. Overall, we would use this inn again and did recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Go for the master bedroom as it is the only one with an en suite bathroom.

“expected a more lavish breakfast for New Years”

This B&B had been raved about by friends. The accommodations were nice, but I was surprised there there was not an "off season" discount provided. Also, I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast provided. The first morning we were given a croissant sandwich and the second day, pancakes. I was surprised that more of a" spread" wasn't provided to accommodate different palates as I was told was always provided before--especially given the holiday occasion. This was more of what I would have expected at an off season B&B to accommodate a lower price for off season discount. Especially since none of the other "seasonal" accommodations were provided either (front porch furniture was completely removed even though it was 60+ degrees outside). The associate helping Sharon also double charged one of us for a room, which was fixed once discovered, but nonetheless inconvenient.

We are very sorry you were not satisfied with our breakfast. We typically receive great reviews on the homemade croissant sandwiches and specialty pancakes. The winter rate is much lower than the summer rate. Currently $110 per night opposed to $180 per night in the summer due to limited amenities and bicycles are available year round as are beach chairs and beach towels. Unfortunately, we have to store our porch furniture in the winter to protect from the harsh elements. The porch is furnished from early spring through late fall each year. I sincerely apologize about the duplicate charge. A refund was issued the same day, however there was a computer glitch with our merchant processor and they did not issue the refund as we saw in our reservation system. Our merchant processor has since made changes to our processing to avoid these issues in the future. I do appreciate your feedback so that we can make changes as necessary to improve our service.

“1st Time in Rehoboth”

This Inn has an excellent location,ample free parking, great breakfasts and evening snacks, and is clean & comfortable. The innkeeper and staff are helpful and friendly. It's a quiet retreat
and a good place for a getaway.....you really feel as if the house is yours to enjoy....the porch, the living room, etc. is very cozy and welcoming.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Delaware Inn (1st time in October 2010). I still cannot say enough about this Inn -- it is clean, delicious breakfast (truly cooked with love), sweet treats to end your evening, great location, QUIET and cozy, all made this way because of Sharon (Innkeeper). Sharon is helpful for restaurant recommendations, places to go, things to do. We hope to make this an annual tradition -- the Fall season at the beach is a great experience, especially in Rehoboth!

Room Tip: In-room bathrooms are the best (they go quickly), 3rd floor - Room 7 is great!
