Stayed here 5/18/2012. I agree with the review below. The location was great but the hotel is old, and the "free breakfast" is absolute junk. Service wasn't friendly - 3 of the members who were coming to stay at the hotel called to ask a question and 3 times (probably 3 different staff members) were rude. Won't stay here again.

We did not have a nice time! We paid $140 for a basic room

The bad:
- Service was awful - three different front desk staff were in bad mood each time we spoke to them!
- Breakfast was not nice - everything in plastic and everything served on or in paper! When will hotels learn that the planet cannot sustain this daily consumption of paper products.
- Room was clean, but last refurbished in 1970 something
- The towel smelled like they had not been washed
- The bed linens had not been ironed

The good:
- Free parking
- Walk-able to town which was nice
- Right on the ocean front - which counts for a lot

We will not be going back

we stayed here overnight for a quick start of the season trip to the beach. The location was nice. right on the beach and a little farther down the boardwalk so it was rather quiet. The room was clean and spacious, a bit out dated but clean. When we arrived the lady behind the desk told us we had a free upgrade. She stated she didnt know how we got it because they dont upgrade when the room is booked on a seperate site. Uhm, ok. kinda took happy out of the upgrade but ok. The breakfast was something a little different. Everything was pre packaged. really not a problem until we realised there was no milk for the cereal and the prepackaged bagels were all covered in mold. Makes me wonder how often they check on the food.

Stayed here for the first time this weekend and found the hotel staff to be friendly and professional, the rooms very clean, and the breakfast adequate. The hotle is right on the beach and the price was right! I will definitely stay here again and would recommend this to friends and family.
