We spent three days here in one of the two bedroom suites. Overall it was better than average. The living room in these units is quite small but it was adequate for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and the TV's got a pretty good selection of channels.
The breakfast was good but we were a little disconcerted by seeing the staff descend on the buffet at exactly 9:30am. If we were not finished, we would have had to fight our way through them which is less than ideal. I am all for allowing the staff to eat but they should have to wait until the guests have cleared out.
The managers reception on both evenings it was offer was a very pleasant surprise. Better than expected from previous Residence Inn stays. I was disappointed by the fact that there was only an outdoor pool and spa.
The staff was exceptionally nice here. Very helpful and ready to answer questions.
I usually prefer the style of Residence Inn with interior corridors and indoor amenities but this is a very nice place, well located for Wilmington, New Castle and of course Newark. There are restaurants and stores close by.
Would I stay again? Yes if I needed the two bedroom, maybe not if I needed only one bedroom. But just because I like an indoor hot tub and indoor rooms, a very personal choice. The rooms here are clean and comfortable and the property well maintained.
