went up to Delaware Park and we like to stay over so hubby can stay late in the Casino. for a night or 2 it's a fine place to stay, very clean, Applebys is right on the property also and since i dont like staying late at the Casino i go back to the motel and watch TV,, and they have plenty of stations, so you will definetly find something you like. Reasonably priced. Ladies if your husband is playing and you'd rather shop,, Christiana mall is like 2 miles up the road,, plenty of stores in there and eateries. Down the street from the hotel is Dunkin Donuts and Cheeseburger Paradise,, which we didnt particularly care for,, but others do.

Stayed here for one night. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was the typical continental breakfast minus 'do it yourself' waffles. Staff was friendly, got a good rate with AAA.

Stay Away

We have been coming to this days inn for a few years now and have noticed it is slowly improving. However the prices they charge are extreme. We stay at least 3 nights for race week and pay more than top price for our room-$149 per night. While I was checking in another person was getting a room for $119. - told because getting king bed.$30 more for double bed????Wouldn't reduce price. not enough towels--turned on air and smelled almost like urine---could be much better. It's too bad have to stay so far from race track to get half way decent prices for rooms--gougeing prices during race weekende is AWEFUL!!!!!!!
