Former Hampton Inn that has been redone, very nice breakfast. Small well equipped fitness room. Nice staff, reasonable rate. HVAC a little noisy, even number rooms don't have highway noise. Lots of food choices within driving distance. Small pool.

We stayed there for a one night stop on our way to Virginia Beach. Hotel is well situated along the highway tough not noisy at all. Staff is polite and helpful, The woman at the reception even tried a couple of words in french knowing we were from the province of Quebec. Nice gesture. Overall, we found this hotel to be a good value for the price. Rooms are a little small for families like us who like to fit an extra bed so everyone (us and 4 kids) can sleep in the room.

My husband, 2 kids and I stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites for a tournament we were in town for. The entire hotel is newly renovated, so everything is spic and span, great comfortable beds. Nice outdoor pool as well. Free breakfast including fruit, cereal, eggs, meat, waffles, donuts, yogurt, etc. Staff was very friendly, 3 miles from University of Del Campus. This room was 104, and I have easily stayed in equivalent rooms that were $300.

This is not our normal stay when we visit Newark but there was a tournament in town for the weekend and so our usual was booked. We were pleasantly surprised by this Comfort Inn - it recently changed over from a Hampton Inn and you can tell immediately that there have been some upgrades. The rooms are CLEAN and modern and the bed is extremely comfortable. The only problem we had was that the phone in our room would not dial out. I called the front desk first to see if I was doing something wrong or if it was a technical error they could fix ( have stayed at hotels where they had to manually set the phone). They did not really know what the problem was and only said try to dial 8 for a line out instead of 9. After a few more tries I went to the front desk where they looked at me like it was my fault and what did I want them to do. So they offered me the phone at their desk. Problem being - tournament going on kids everywhere - lots of noise and did not feel like making a personal call home in front of three hotel employees. I was expecting a better solution - like offering me a quiet location (meeting room or office) to make the call. But aside from the phone incident - the hotel was nice and we enjoyed the room.
