the hotel is nice, the staff was very friendly, i would recommend this hotel

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Aug 4th to Aug 6th with wife and kids, Found the facility to be clean and well layed out. Ran out of hot water one morning and front desk appeared indifferent citing "thats what happens when too many guests take showers at the same time". Not the most focused customer response. Also waited for almost an hour one moring for someone to bring a toilet plunger and some toilet paper. When they did arrive, they were very pleasant and fixed the problem. My sense is that if you have an issue, don't expect the front desk to fall all over you. Otherwise, this was a good experience,

I was in town all the way from north Carolina coming to see some family members and also going the annual Delaware state fair..I stood here for 2 nights and it was terrible, i believe I talked to someone named Julia and also jenn at the front desk, they were extremely rude when I asked for xtra towels, they said they would bring them to my room and THEY NEVER DID awful!!!! The rooms and hallways leaked with cigarette smoke!! Also it was 100 degrees so as soon as I got there I turned the water on to shower and the water literally came out DARK BROWN! It was discusting!!! The ac was also terrible !!! And for close to $200 a night I rather drive a half hour more n stay Dover downs -- Never again will i stay here!! Just a heads up for u guys!!!

We stayed five nights. This place is really a nice clean comfortable holiday inn. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were super clean. The air worked great!! it was in the 100 to 97 degree range every day and the air kept up and room was nice and cool. The pool was nice clean and went to six foot which was nice. Breakfast was usual fare except they have a pancake making machine that one of the guys said was pretty good. They usually have lemonade and cookies for the evening. We left early a couple days for work and they had breakfast early which I always appreciate!!!! I have been in so many hotels where if you try to get breakfast early they act as if they are put out but not this place. They were all very nice and accommodating. The king bed I had was comfortable and the room was very very quiet. Great job to all at this Holiday inn express.
