My son and I like to go to Dover Downs and usually stay at the hotel there, but because of the holiday weekend they were booked. I searched online and found the Days Inn and booked two rooms for Sunday night. I was delighted that I could get two king bed rooms for the price of one at some of the other motels in the area. Due to my son's work schedule I had to change our reservations to Saturday night instead and was very surprised that the rate was the same. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, both on the phone and in person. The rooms were okay but not as updated as some of the previous reviewers mentioned. My bathroom toilet was loose on the floor, my heater was very noisy during the night, and my bed was not as clean as I would have liked (or as comfortable). Luckily for me, I had brought a pillow and blanket from home. It was nice to be able to park right in front of the room and the desk clerk gave us the closest rooms he had to the dining area, especially since it was so cold outside. I can't rate the breakfast because my son decided he wanted to eat elsewhere. I wouldn't rule out staying there again if necessary, maybe just in a different room!
