We picked this property based on Comfort Inn reputation but the location was horrible. It is on Rt 13, a major highway in Delaware which was not that bad. But, at night, many trucks stay over and leave their diesels running all night long (which I thought was against the law - so much for greener). Cleanliness? - we had to have bed linens changed first day because of blood stain on sheet. Service was poor. Great free breakfast.

The room was in poor condition with holes in the wall, a badly patched up sink, peeling wallpaper. The center had been cleaned but the edges were dirty and dusty. The WiFi wouldn't work at all.

Checked in for a night as I was stuck out in DE. Not many rooms left but the very kind man at the front desk got me set up in a king bed smoking room.
The room was clean, everything in working order, and roomy. Plain but cozily decorated with a desk and mirror, a table and chairs and a dresser with a nice sized tv.
Comfortable bed, lots of pillows and a fluffy comforter. Clean bathroom.
Breakfast was nice with a lot of things to choose from.
A little on the expensive side for me as this is a nicely kept but average hotel. Can't really complain as it was a sudden booking on a weekend and this place was sold out.

The first room had a hole in the wall, a spider web near the air condition, and 2 small bugs on the wall. When we changed rooms, there was a spider crawling on my pillow. After I killed the spider, I lifted up the pillow and underneath it was a beetle.
I went to the lobby and the front desk guy said he cannot give me bug spray because the maintenance guy has the shed locked up for the night.
So I slept on the chair with two pillows leaning over the table. Obviously I had a sore neck when I woke up after a 4 hour sleep.
Out of all the staff I talked to at Comfort Inn, a lady named Pebbles was the only nice one.

A large group of us were in Delaware for a few days and spent a day/night here. The staff was very impressive in coordinating our large party (over 20 people) and had us all checked-in within 10 minutes. I was very impressed with the ease it took.
Other than the check-in, the hotel is pretty average. It's typical for Comfort Inn-type of hotels and gets the job done.
The rooms were very roomy and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were average.
The hotel serves continental breakfast that is pretty standard.
There were some stores and restaurants within walking or cab distance.
I would stay here again if I were in the area.
