The rooms are very dated looking, and the smell of cigarette smoke was extremely powerful. I started to go and ask for another room if not a refund but figured hey I didnt come for the room I came to explore Dover, so I sprayed the room good with my body spray and then left out once we placed our belongings down. The hotel is directly behind a Friday's which was pretty nice. It's about 5min. away from Dover Downs so the location was great, but the room was strictly just a place to lay your head so we stayed out all day to make sure we were good and tired when we got back to the room. The light fixtures were falling off the ceilings, it was stains on the walls, burn holes in the carpet. Seems like everything been there since the "motel" opened back in 1910 haha! I would never stay there again, but it got us through the night and thank goodness there were no bugs, danger, or strangers lurking around.

Two separate two-storey blocks with outside access behind TGI-Friday restaurant. Not very obvious from the main north-south highway. Outside stairwell rather grubby. Room 227 had TV, air-con, fridge, microwave, clock-radio, in-room safe (@$1 charge), coffee maker, hairdryer. Very quiet room. some electrical outlets not live (probs when trying to re-charge camera battery). Furnishing rather worn, but clean. Small breakfast room in the other block offering choice of 3 cereals, 4 juices, waffles, breads and pastries. Friendly staff at Reception, readily giving local advice and directions.

I would not recommend staying here, we wanted to stay overnight at the casino in Dover but it was booked so we chose this hotel since it said it was across the street from the casino.... It was actualy about 2-3 miles away. Upon check-in, the room was not very nice at all, the coffee maker & blow dryer did not work. We went to the pool since it was sunny & hot & the pool was cloudy. They did offer continental breakfast as the website said & it was ok. I would never stay here again & it was not worth the money.

I have stayed in Comfort Inns and other choice hotels. this by far is the very worse one in thier inventory. The room was over 100 dollars and was dirty, building very dated, mold and dirty ice machine, and in a very bad neighborhood. Would have been better to have stayed at a motel 6 or motel 8. Bathroom plumbing leaked, towel racks ripped from the wall and missing, Remote Conrol missing, iron didn't work, hoodlums in parking lot. Very disappointed and will never stay here again. Highly recommend that you don't either.
