At Sea Esta IV the pool was litarally the size of two hot tubs put together, fine if you just wanted to soak for a bit. The Air conditioning in the room we were given was not big enough to even cool the room. After checking things out we discoverd that a 4 block walk to the beach was required. Way to far to drag all the stuff a family would need to spend the day on the beach. We checked in at 2 PM and checked out at 10 PM the same night and went to Sea Esta I Motel that was just one block from the beach. That was an even bigger mistake, No pool at all, and the rooms were in very poor condition. As one of the kids put it, there was a reason it was called the Sea Esta I, because it was the first one. We stayed one night and left the next day after asking for a different room and were denied.

Camping was he'll at state park, so last second booking at sea esta iv made last 2 days of vacation enjoyable. Nice room with small pool but still nice. Maid even obeyed do not disturb sign and left fresh towels and stuff in bag on door. Cool!! Def recommend. Will return.

We stayed at the Sea Esta IV for the "Greyhounds Reach the Beach" weekend Oct 9 - 11. We are very picky about hotels and were a little leary about the Sea Esta but were very pleasantly surprised. It's an older property and needs a little updating but it's extremely clean, safe, in a great location off the beach but near shopping and restaurants, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, and best of all they are very pet friendly. The beds were a little hard for our liking so we went to Walmart and purchased a foam mattress pad and it helped a little. For some people the firms beds would be just right. This will not stop us from staying here again - we'll just know to bring a soft mattress topper! The property had free WiFi, a microwave and fridge in each room, and good TV reception with lots of channels. Don't hesitate to pick the Sea Esta IV for a clean, inexpensive location just a few blocks from the beach.

Very disappointed in this hotel. I have never written a review online before but felt that the owner handled this problem poorly. What happened to customer service. We had no hot water and reported it to the owner. He said that it was an act of God and that he could not do anything to adjust our bill. He explained to us that the hotel had a power surge which took out the hot water boiler. The hotel was working on the problem but we still did not have hot water. He said that he could not adjust our bill. We will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
