I have stayed here for the past two summers. This place is one block away from the beach which is great when you have little ones....it is not far at all. The staff were always very friendly and helpful on both trips (we stayed for a week each time). They recommended new places to see and gave directions :)

Our room had two queen beds, average sized bathroom, small refrigerator, and microwave with a large dresser. It is not new or fancy by any stretch BUT it is clean, affordable, and has a great location. For a family with young children, I can't ask for anything more!

Was looking for an inexpensive room at the beach on a Sunday night in late March. Many of the hotels/motels open at this time of year are either overpriced are complete dumps. Luckily this was neither. It is next door to the Ruddertown complex and across the side street from the police station. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained. The room even had 2 range tops (alas no pots) and a kitchen-type sink in addition to the one in the bathroom. The room had a balcony overlooking the bay although there were some house tops in the way (but then I don't go on vacation to look out the window). The staff that I encountered were all very pleasant. Also the hotel is only one block from the beach.

Only had two minor complaints. The TV was tiny (again don't go on vacation to watch TV, so not a big one). Also the carpeting is in desperate need of replacement.

If you're looking for a decent, inexpensive beach getaway, I'd definitely recommend the Sea Esta III.

If you're looking for somewhere

This place was inexpensive (about $83 w/ tax for a Sat night) We wanted to get away with our dog - which was great because it's hard to find! Carpeting is indoor/outdoor and room is outdated. But we could see the ocean from our balcony and could walk 2 minutes to shops & restaurants. Only 1 bar was open in November but it was a great time to go. Still warm and no one on the beach - our dog could run around freely! easy check-in/out and no problems whatsoever. I would def recommend this to anyone who wants to bring their dog to a nice, quiet beach - also very close to Rehoboth!

Our stay at the Sea Esta III was terrific. The hotel was clean and very friendly to both my husband and me but also to our dog. It was like the whole hotel was catering to the dog community. The other guests that stayed were all kind,courteous and very friendly. It seem as though everyone had a dog with them. All of the dog owners were responsible for the pets and kept the hotel and surrounding areas extremely clean. The hotel itself had bay views and was only one block from the beach. Great hotel, I will be staying there next year.
