If you stay in 100 hotel rooms a year, which we do, and 99% of the time everything is fine, it still means that one time you will have a problem. So we are pretty laid back when we encounter a problem...as long as management fixes it. That is what happened at AmericInn.
We arrived after 11pm on Christmas Day. i'm guessing that the maid was in a hurry to get to be with her family or whatever and took some shortcuts. So our room wasn't clean. We ended up changing our own sheets because it was so late. (Cory at the front desk gave us the option of an upgraded room with a spa but it didn't have a divider to separate us from our child).
When I spoke to Aaron the General Manager, he agreed that we shouldn't have to pay for that night. The rest of the stay, everything was fine, although the wireless never worked on the third floor, just in the lobby. They lent me a Cat 5 cable so I could plug in directly for internet.
